Client side features:

  • Elapsed chat time display.

  • At session start, set user name and e-mail (optional) For a more personal friendly chat.

  • Chat status messages.

  • Ability to turn audio alerts On or Off.

  • Send message either by click a button with the mouse or by hitting the Enter key.

  • Notification that the remote party has started to type.

  • If remote party has cleared his input text the notification is cleared !.

  • Ability to send an offline message If support is not available, uses a regular HTML form.

  • At own web site, get support Online/Offline indication.

Support side features:

  • Main application elapsed up-time display.

  • Elapsed chat time display, separated for each session.

  • Chat status display in main and in separate chat windows.

  • Chat with multiple clients at the same time, every session has a separate chat window.

  • Control functional parameters in software setup.

  • Ability to personalize program parameters with a configuration file.

  • Save/load configuration setup per session or per operator.

  • Able to push a web page directly to client browser (new page).

  • Automatic incremental log file.

  • Send message either by click of a mouse or by hitting the Enter key.

  • If user (Client side) supplies a valid e-mail, a chat transcript will be mailed to him at end of session..

  • If chosen at the client side (parameter) a phone number value can be passed.

  • Supporter can get a CC of the same chat transcript as sent to the client.

  • Support can get a chat transcript even if remote client did not supply an address (option).

  • Automatic reconnection to WSMS server on network error.

  • Automatic chat end when remote client cancels or end chat session (by support).

  • Chat transcript is attached to a standard mail. The standard mail is a simple text file that can be editable by the support group.

  • Ability to detect support connection lost.

  • Notification, remote party has started to type.

  • Ability to setup user sounds.

  • Support to support chat sessions (no images, only text).

  • Ability to send a JPEG or GIF formatted images to remote client.

  • Ability to transfer a chat session to another supporter from the same group (same ClientID)

  • Auto answer on minimized.

  • Idle detection, reports to the server that support is offline/online (sleep option).

  • Support multiple sites and get a notification from were the client is calling from.

  • Use "Canned messages" to aid in time consuming reoccurring messages.

  • Use URL shortcuts when using the push URL option.

  • Upon receiving a new call, site address is displayed. Gives the supporter ability to handle support for more then one site.
